28/12- El baile de la urraca – Improvisació de final d’any

Per celebrar el final d’any, un grup de músics i ballarins, majoritàriament formats a Amsterdam, tornem a l’Antic Teatre a improvisar.
El nom de la sessió d’aquest any és un petit homenatge a Magpie («urraca» en anglès), que va ser una companyia d’improvisació en dansa i música d’Amsterdam de la qual molts dels que actuarem aquesta nit ens vam inspirar, gaudir i fins tot col·laborar.

Per això, aquest any intentarem re-crear a la nostra manera, i des del nostre propi imaginari, els principis bàsics d’aquella companyia, que Katy Duck, una de les seves fundadores, resumeix tan bé en aquesta entrevista que li fa Mark Wedin:

«Magpie always manages to create moments of quiet beauty, great humour, sincere awkwardness, and even fear—they often dance within inches of the audience. And, when they’re that close, it’s natural to worry that you might get hit in the face, until you realize that they do this all the time, and they know what they’re doing, even if they don’t know what they’re doing next.»

Para celebrar el final de año, un grupo de músicos y bailarines, mayoritariamente formados en Amsterdam, vuelven en Antic Teatre a improvisar.
El nombre de la sesión de este año es un pequeño homenaje a Magpie («urraca en inglés), que fue una compañía de improvisación de danza y música de Amsterdam en la cual muchos de los que actuamos esta noche nos inspiramos, disfrutamos y colaboramos con ella.

Por esto, este año intentaremos re-crear a nuestra manera, y desde nuestro propio imaginario, los principios básicos de esta compañía, queKaty Duck, una de sus fundadoras, resume tan bien en esta entrevista que le hace Mark Wedin:
