Plazo de recepci\u00f3n de propuestas: hasta el 28 de febrero de 2011.<\/span><\/p>\n

Se convocan propuestas para acciones en vivo y videoacciones con la tem\u00e1tica propuesta. <\/span><\/p>\n

Requerimientos:<\/span><\/p>\n

Acciones en vivo:<\/span> (no mandar pdf\u2019s ni archivos adjuntos salvo las im\u00e1genes, toda la info debe ir en el propio mail)<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span> \u201cSemana santaaaaaaaaaaaaa\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

La Semana Santa es una fiesta cristiana y al mismo tiempo pagana. Es conmemoraci\u00f3n de la pasi\u00f3n, muerte y resurrecci\u00f3n de Cristo y son vacaciones, ocio, viajes…<\/p>\n

Procesiones, tambores, cornetas, im\u00e1genes tapadas con pa\u00f1os morados en las iglesias y en las casas de los creyentes, entrada triunfal de Jes\u00fas en Jerusalem. Prendimiento, tortura, pasi\u00f3n, crucifixi\u00f3n, muerte, resurrecci\u00f3n de Jes\u00fas.<\/p>\n

Viajes a la playita o a la monta\u00f1a, casas rurales, el primer ba\u00f1ito del a\u00f1o en el mar, descanso, encuentros con amistades, caravanas de coches en las carreteras, accidentes de tr\u00e1fico\u2026<\/p>\n

Independientemente de la creencia cristiana o no, la semana santa mapea simb\u00f3licamente la integraci\u00f3n del dolor dibujando el recorrido que hacemos las personas de manera natural para su incorporaci\u00f3n en nuestra vida cotidiana debiendo morir para \u201cresucitar\u201d como personas nuevas aunque marcadas por los signos del dolor.<\/p>\n

La Semana Santa lleva aparejado un tiempo comercial y de ocio, de descanso, de cifras de ocupaci\u00f3n hotelera, de viajes, de vacaciones, de interrupci\u00f3n del trabajo, de anticipaci\u00f3n del verano\u2026<\/p>\n

La Semana Santa tiene su parte pagana y de ello dan cuenta los huevos de pascua o \u201cmonas de pascua\u201d, la elecci\u00f3n de la fecha de celebraci\u00f3n cristiana en funci\u00f3n de la luna llena m\u00e1s pr\u00f3xima al equinoccio de primavera, la superposici\u00f3n que hace el cristianismo de ella sobre los ritos paganos o pre-cristianos relacionados con el cambio de estaci\u00f3n o el renacimiento de la primavera despu\u00e9s de la muerte del invierno.<\/p>\n

Conviven tambi\u00e9n con la Semana Santa para-celebraciones como la procesi\u00f3n de los borrachos o el remedo pseudo-religioso de la \u201cProcesi\u00f3n de San Genar\u00edn\u201d en Le\u00f3n en las que alcohol, mofa y diversi\u00f3n se apropian de la ritolog\u00eda cat\u00f3lica.<\/p>\n

Convocamos a artistas de acci\u00f3n y\/o artes en vivo de marcado car\u00e1cter perform\u00e1tico o h\u00edbrido a presentar trabajos sobre los conceptos que engloban la \u201cSemana Santa\u201d.<\/p>\n

Conceptos que aparezcan en este texto o nuevos conceptos sobre ella que quer\u00e1is trabajar.<\/p>\n

ART\u00f3N es una organizaci\u00f3n que trabaja sin ning\u00fan tipo de apoyo institucional ni privado.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

ART\u00f3N se financia gracias a la \u201cacci\u00f3n regadera\u201d en la que se pide colaboraci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica voluntaria a la asistencia a las sesiones. Esta colaboraci\u00f3n suele cubrir muy justo los gatos de difusi\u00f3n y puesta en marcha del evento o incluso no cubrirlos.<\/span><\/p>\n

ART\u00f3N no puede hacerse cargo de los traslados, dietas, honorarios y materiales de las personas que decidan participar en \u00e9l. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

ART\u00f3N ofrece buen trato y acompa\u00f1amiento en las necesidades de las y los artistas que se trasladen a Madrid para participar en sus sesiones. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

ART\u00f3N puede ofrecer en ocasiones puntuales alojamiento en casas privadas a algunas de las personas que vengan de fuera. <\/span> ART\u00f3N ofrece difusi\u00f3n de las sesiones y del trabajo de sus participantes. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

ART\u00f3N ofrece a sus participantes la documentaci\u00f3n gr\u00e1fica que se genere en sus sesiones en la m\u00e1s alta calidad posible.<\/span><\/p>\n

A call for proposals of live performance and video-performance on the proposed theme. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSemana santaaaaaaaaaaaaa\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Semana Santa is at once a Christian and pagan festivity. It commemorates the passion, death and resurrection of Christ and is also holiday, leisure, travel…<\/p>\n

Processions, drums, images cloaked with purple fabric inside churches and the houses of believers, the triumphal entrance of Christ into Jerusalem. Apprehension, torture, crucifixion, death, the resurrection of Christ.<\/p>\n

Trips to the beach or the mountain, rural houses, the first swim of the year in the sea, rest, encounters with friends, traffic on the road, car accidents\u2026<\/p>\n

Independently of Christian beliefs, Semana Santa symbolically maps the integration of pain, drawing the path we follow naturally for it’s incorporation in our everyday lives. We must die to “resurrect” as new, yet marked by the signs of pain. Semana Santa is linked also to a time of leisure and commerce, of rest, of elevated hotel booking, travels, holidays, work leave, the anticipation of summer\u2026<\/p>\n

Semana Santa has it’s pagan heritage as Easter eggs or “monas de pascua” testify. Same as the date of celebration being based on the full moon closest to spring equinox, the superposition Christianity makes on it, on pagan and pre-Christian rituals related to the change of season or the rebirth of spring after the death of winter.<\/p>\n

Also coexisting with Semana Santa are parallel celebrations like the procession of drunks (Cuenca, Spain) or the pseudo-religious remedy of the “Procession of San Genar\u00edn” in Leon (Spain) where alcohol, mockery and fun take over the catholic ritualism.<\/p>\n

We call live art and performance artists of performatic or hybrid character to submit works on the concepts that surround Semana Santa.<\/p>\n

Concepts that appear in this text or new ones about it you would like to investigate.<\/p>\n

The internet is full of references if you wish to know more and thus implement the ideas that may have landed on your head during the reading of this text. You can search \u201cSemana Santa\u201d (Holly week)<\/p>\n

ART\u00f3N is an organisation that works without institutional or private support.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

ART\u00f3N is financed thanks to the “watering can action”: asking those present in the sessions for a voluntary economic collaboration. This collaboration tends to cover the dissemination costs and preparation of the event, sometimes not even this.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

ART\u00f3N cannot cover travel, per diem, fees or material costs of the people that decide to participate.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

ART\u00f3N offers good personal relationship and willful assistance in the needs of artists that travel to Madrid for participating in a session.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

ART\u00f3N can sometimes offer housing in private homes to some of the people that come from other cities.<\/span><\/p>\n

ART\u00f3N offers dissemination of the sessions and work of all participants.<\/span><\/p>\n
