This non-sexual individual practice of one hour proposes the simultaneous use of techniques from the otherwise distinct areas of BDSM and meditation. If we understand that beyond the relations of domination, power is something that we inevitably encounter in myriad ways every day, it may be interesting to ritualize it to better understand its dynamics and its impact on our bodies.<\/p>\n

We propose to combine a series of exercises of BDSM with meditation techniques in order to maintain an awareness of how the ego is porous and unstable, and detach the experience of power (whether exercising it or being subjected to it) from that of identity.<\/p>\n

The workshop will be contextualized in a introductory session that will take place on March 10th\u00a0 at 19h30 at La Capella<\/a>. Due to the sensitive nature of these practices, exercises will be negotiated in individual meetings with interested participants. These individual meetings will take place from 11th March to the 3rd of April. The talk is open to the public, but to arrange an individual meeting please send a brief email of motivation to quimpujol@gmail.com. Esta pr\u00e1ctica individual de car\u00e1cter no sexual y de una hora de duraci\u00f3n propone el uso simult\u00e1neo de t\u00e9cnicas de \u00e1mbitos tan distintos como el BDSM y la meditaci\u00f3n.
\nSi entendemos que m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las relaciones de dominaci\u00f3n el poder es algo inevitable que nos atraviesa de mil maneras diferentes cada d\u00eda, quiz\u00e1 resulte interesante entender sus din\u00e1micas y su impacto sobre nuestros cuerpos mediante la ritualizaci\u00f3n.
\nProponemos combinar una serie de ejercicios de BDSM con t\u00e9cnicas de meditaci\u00f3n para mantener la conciencia de que nuestro yo es poroso e inestable y desvincular la experiencia del poder (ya sea la de ejercerlo o la de estar sometido al mismo) de la identidad.<\/p>\n

El taller se contextualizar\u00e1 en una sesi\u00f3n de presentaci\u00f3n que tendr\u00e1 lugar el 10 de marzo a las 19h30 en la La Capella<\/a>. Debido a la naturaleza sensible de estas pr\u00e1cticas los ejercicios se negociar\u00e1n de forma individual con l@s participantes que as\u00ed lo deseen.
