Despr\u00e9s de parlar de botifarrons i de cotxes \u00abtunejats\u00bb, de la vellesa i les nenes de Garabandal, de Matthew Barney i l’eleg\u00e0ncia espanyola; aquesta vegada parlarem de \u00abteatre\u00bb. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

L’altre dia vaig llegir una entrevista a Astrud sobre el seu \u00faltim disc que sembla que \u00e9s bon\u00edssim (la veritat \u00e9s que no l’he escoltat per\u00f2 no m’estranyaria que ho fos perqu\u00e8 l’anterior ja era molt bo). L’entrevistador els preguntava com feien aquestes lletres tan interessants i ells contestaven que sol parlaven de coses normals que passaven al seu voltant, per\u00f2 que com avui en dia tothom intenta fer coses que no hagi fet ning\u00fa abans i ser el m\u00e9s modern i el m\u00e9s \u00abguays\u00bb, resulta que ara tot el mercat \u00e9s ple de coses estranyes que no ent\u00e9n ning\u00fa, i si alg\u00fa fa una cosa normal, resulta que \u00e9s original.<\/span><\/p>\n

Si hagu\u00e9s de definir aquest treball crec que seria a prop d’Astrud. Aqu\u00ed nom\u00e9s veureu a dues persones que fan com que actuen i parlen del que passa al seu voltant.<\/span><\/p>\n

SERGI F\u00c4USTINO \u00e9s ballar\u00ed i director teatral, i un dels representants m\u00e9s ferms de les noves escenes catalanes. Ha treballat amb moltes companyies de renom i actualment treballa pel seu compte. Entre els seus espectacles: \u00abNutritivo\u00bb, \u00abLa historia de M\u00aa Engracia Morales\u00bb, \u00abEl Cremaster de los Cojones\u00bb, \u00abf.r.a.n.z.p.e.t.e.r.\u00bb<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Vaig comen\u00e7ar la meva formaci\u00f3 en el Club Mar\u00edtim de Barcelona entre 1991 i 1992, despr\u00e9s vaig continuar formant-me en l’aquarterament militar \u00abSancho Ram\u00edrez\u00bb d’Osca durant tot l’any 1993, per seguir en el centre soci-sanitari d’atenci\u00f3 a la tercera edat \u00abCl\u00ednica de la Barceloneta\u00bb entre 1994 i 1996, i acabar (encara que la formaci\u00f3 mai no acaba) en la S.N.D.O. (School for New Dance Development) a Amsterdam, entre 1996 i 1999, per\u00f2 la vaig deixar a mitges: eren 4 anys i jo vaig fer 3.<\/span><\/p>\n

He treballat com a actor i ballar\u00ed en companyies importants per\u00f2 les he tret del curr\u00edculum perqu\u00e8 no m’agraden i no vull que m’hi relacionin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s de hablar de morcillas y de coches \u201ctuneaos\u201d, de la vejez y las ni\u00f1as de Garabandal, de Matthew Barney y la elegancia espa\u00f1ola; esta vez vamos a hablar de \u201cteatro\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

El otro d\u00eda le\u00ed una entrevista a Astrud sobre su \u00faltimo disco que parece que es buen\u00edsimo (la verdad es que no lo he escuchado pero no me extra\u00f1ar\u00eda que lo fuera porque el anterior ya era muy bueno). El entrevistador les preguntaba c\u00f3mo hac\u00edan esas letras tan interesantes y ellos contestaban que solo hablaban de cosas normales que pasaban a su alrededor, pero que como hoy en d\u00eda todo el mundo intenta hacer cosas que no haya hecho nadie antes y ser el mas moderno y el mas \u201cguays\u201d, pues resulta que ahora todo el mercado est\u00e1 lleno de cosas extra\u00f1as que no entiende nadie, y si alguien hace una cosa normal, pues resulta que es original.<\/span><\/p>\n

Si tuviera que definir este trabajo creo que estar\u00eda cerca de Astrud. Aqu\u00ed solo vais a ver a dos personas que hacen como que act\u00faan y hablan de lo que pasa a su alrededor.<\/span><\/p>\n

The other day, I red an interview with Astrud about their latest album, that seems fantastic (the truth is that I have not heard it, but I don\u2019t doubt that it is because their last one was very good).\u00a0 <\/span>The interviewer asked them how they wrote interesting lyrics and they replied that they only spoke about normal things that went on around them,.\u00a0 <\/span>Also that now everyone tries to do things that are unique in order to be the most modern and \u201ccoolest\u201d.\u00a0 <\/span>Therefore now the market is full of strange things that no-one understands, and if someone does a normal thing -it is original.<\/span><\/p>\n

If I had to define this work I think it would be close to Astrud. Here you will only see two people who act like they do and talk about what is happening around them.<\/span><\/p>\n

SERGI F\u00c4USTINO is a dancer and theater director, and one of the strongest representatives of the new Catalan scenes. He has worked with many renowned companies and is currently working on their own. I started my training at the Marine Club of Barcelona between 1991 and 1992.\u00a0 <\/span>I continued my training in the military barracks \u00abSancho Ram\u00edrez\u00bb in Huesca during the year 1993, so that I could continue at the health care centre for the elderly \u00abBarceloneta Clinic\u00bb between 1994 and 1996, and finally (although the training never ends) in SNDO (School for New Dance Development) in Amsterdam between 1996 and 1999, but I left halfway through, it would have been 4 years but I completed 3.<\/span><\/p>\n

I’ve worked as an actor and a dancer for alot of important companies but I have removed them from the my CV because I do not like them and I don\u2019t want to be associated with them.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
