training and creation project in performing arts 2012
Call for application – deadline February 29th 2012
“ECCE PERFORMER” is a training and creative program for artists in performing arts including a specific research in dramathurgy.
The project is addressed to young artists and students interested in an intensive and creative experience in the field of performing arts.
in 2012 edition the project will be directed by Elvira Frosini / Kataklisma, with an intensive training program in march 2012, and will also include two workshop with other artists of italian contemporary landscape.
The dramathurgy intensive program will be directed by Attilio Scarpellini, with the collaboration of Daniele Timpano.
The selected artists will participate to:
-an intensive training program with Elvira Frosini / Kataklisma in March 2012
–two workshop with Lisa Felazzo Natoli, Antonio Tagliarini and Daria Deflorian, artists /companies of italian contemporary theatre landscape
– an intensive training program in dramathurgy with Attilio Scarpellini
-special master classes with University Professors (Roberto Ciancarelli, Donatella Orecchia, Gilberto Scaramuzzo), journalists of “Quaderni del teatro di Roma” (rivista critica del Teatro di Roma), the artists and teachers of SCUOLAROMA -performative contemporary arts network in Rome.
-a special public event presenting the realized study emerging from the project

The cost of the program is free for the selected participants
The participants must garantee the presence to the whole project.

PARTICIPATION
The call is addressed to artists and writers (dramathurgy) and/or students in theatre and dance.
There is no age limit, but will be preferred artists under 35 years old.
HOW TO APPLY
Applicants will send a mail to ecceperformer@gmail.com, with object : SELEZIONE ECCE PERFORMER, including a cv with anagrafic details and contact, and a presentation/notivation letter.
Dramathurgy Section: Applicants will send a mail to ecceperformer@gmail.com, with object : SELEZIONE ECCE PERFORMER DRAMMATURGIA, including a cv with anagrafic details and contact, a presentation/motivation letter, and two short writings.
DEADLINE: February 29th 2012
SELECTION
The selected applicants will receive a convocation to an audition. Will be selected a maximum of 13 participants: 10 artists and a maximum of 3 for dramathurgy section.
