The performative researches that we have been conducting – out of any systematism – around the triple theme Mind-Body-Brain have led us to develop a series of exercises, from the physical to the figurative, that have had the aim to bring forth figures half-way between the personal, the physical reality of the performers and fiction - a fiction necessarily uncertain, as indistinct and changing as reality itself (when reality is not taken for granted). More generally, this has led us to examine the function of fiction in our so-called cynical and disillusioned era and the relationship between the artist and his milieu as regards to the creation of a discourse.

Artistic reasons justify the mobility of the laboratories, as each person invited is put in relation with his background and the diverse situations resulting from this group work confronted and compared. Investigating the relationship between MIND, BODY and BRAIN enjoins he to work directly with the privacy and identity of the performers participating. We choose differents cities looking for the specific reality of each one.

With six performers, Abraham wishes to explore their perception about the connection between the Mind, the Body and the Brain. Questions about the brain functions in relation to the thoughts of the mind and the movement of the body will be researched, composing a one-time Micro-Performance.

Die Körper Ohne Uns / El cuerpo sin nosotros. México DF

PRISMA FORUM, MEXICO DF. 10 de julio a las 21.30h CENART (Salvador Novo)

www.prisma-forum.org

Asistencia: Joao Dias. Producción Ejecutiva: Danilo Pioli ; Co-producción: Centro Párraga , Colectivo Forzar Salida;  Apoyos:  Eira33 Residência de Criaçao (Lisboa); Kultur projekte Berlin. Especial colaboración en video de Kotomi Nishiwaki.

Premiere Die Körper Ohne Uns

Die Körper Ohne Uns will be premiere 18th of June 2009 in Centro Párraga (Murcia) . Next performance 10th July at Prisma Forum Mexico DF. Is a Performance Installation. The proposition rounds about the loss, hallucination, fantasy and the inert body between the
space dead/alive. A piece where the loneliness of the characters will be always present. The individuality as a state. The identity as lost. The communication as a way out. From the work of plastic artist Noé Sendas and his hyper realistic sculptures, a story of fiction is created, told
through the image of the body in movement and also the static body. A work that starts in the gesture and the body in a certain mental state. Bodies present but not between us anymore, live together in the gap that exists between the dead and the living.
